That’s Baller

Death Race (starring my man Jason Statham) was just released as a DVDScr.  I’ve seen this in the theater already and I know it’s still playing so I would recommend anyone that has not seen it to run out and do it the justice it deserves on the big screen.  It certainly exceeded my expectations.

FINALLY!!!!!  I have been DYING to see this movie!!!  I would go into a long explanation about why this movie looks hilarious, who has vouched for this movie, but honestly….just watch the trailer and I dare you to not watch it!!!  That just happened!  Here’s the link to the nzbizzee

So the scene has been plenty busy lately. Here’s some of the latest releases to come out and a little input on the ones that I have seen.

So I have only seen two of them; The Happening, and Wall-E……The Happening was actually pretty good! I had low expectations because people were really hating on it but I thought it was pretty suspenseful. I always liked Shyamalan though.
Wall-E was simply amazing. I can’t believe that Pixar was able to provoke real human emotions for a drawing of a robot. It was AMAZING. I actually think you shouldn’t bother wasting your time watching a TS of this fantastic movie….but honestly animated TS’ are the ones that translate the best on the film. Anyways….good luck with the movies and since it’s a rainy weekend here….I’ll probably catch up on some other movies!!

It goes without question that he Transporter series of films is VERY highly regarded by all of us here at That’s Baller. And, as such, we will not hesitate to tantalize you with the trailer for the third installment of the franchise. On a more personal note, I was deeply offended by the American moviegoing public’s utter lack of support for Jason Statham’s current film Death Race. House Bunny grossed more than Death Race this weekend. Case closed. Not Baller.

I was watching Across The Universe for about the millionth time the other night and for anyone that hasn’t seen it I decided to show a little clip just to see how they integrate the Beatle’s lyrics into the story (the song is Dear Prudence and the characters name….you guessed it….Prudence).  Plus I think this scene is visually amazing.  It would be an injustice to yourself to only watch this crappy bitrate version though so definitely check out the full movie!
