That’s Baller

Just to set the record straight, I generally like Tito Ortiz. He’s certainly made a name for himself in the MMA game, and has made a ton of money in the process. He’s got a style that some love to hate, but he gets the press and what he does makes news. Hence this blog post. Honestly though, what’s up with getting a sponsorship from Mickey’s Fine Malt Liquor? I’m sure their money is just as green as anyone else’s and he will have the distinct honor of having cans of malt liquor made in his image and likeness, but come on…Was Mad Dog 20/20 not available? Did Olde English tap out the advertising budget?

What a way to kick off the Not Baller Files. As much as I like Randy Couture, as much as I liked the first installment of the Scorpion King and as much as I like the director of Highlander (won the oscar for Best Movie Ever) I just couldn’t believe how poorly done The Scorpion King 2 was. Terrible CGI was rampant, they made Randy’s voice sound way too deep and the story was about as predictable as they come. There’s a reason this one is coming straight to DVD and it’s not even worth the 5 bucks to rent. This one has flop written all over it!

Looks like a pretty decent card, with the exception of all the TUF alums providing the filler/undercard matches.
