That’s Baller

…and we’re back with another episode of the Not Baller Files. Last night was the premiere of the new Microsoft $300 x a millie ad campaign and boy was it not baller. Honestly, I’m not saying this to be a hater, but all MSFT did was show how dorky they really are. Even with the help of Crispin Porter, one of the most gangster ad firms in the biz (these are the people behind such slam dunks as The King from Burger King and the Men of the Squared Table from Miller Lite), the commercial was corny as hell. What a way to kick off the Not Baller Files. As much as I like Randy Couture, as much as I liked the first installment of the Scorpion King and as much as I like the director of Highlander (won the oscar for Best Movie Ever) I just couldn’t believe how poorly done The Scorpion King 2 was. Terrible CGI was rampant, they made Randy’s voice sound way too deep and the story was about as predictable as they come. There’s a reason this one is coming straight to DVD and it’s not even worth the 5 bucks to rent. This one has flop written all over it!
