So I’ve been using the Treo about a week now, I guess exactly one week. If there’s only one word that I can use to express my feelings toward this “device” it is….adoration. I love this damn phone!  When I first used the phone, for the few brief moments in the Sprint store, I was worried that when I got to REALLY get into it and install apps and customize it the way I do then it would slow down.  Wrong.  Wrong.  This thing is flying.  I’m typing this up using the free Rev-A internet too….take that Fay you stupid whore of a storm….shut down my DSL and I come right back!  I’ll be putting some posts up soon of some of my favorite programs and some ways to tinker and just generally improve on the ALMOST perfect 800w (damn LCD).  In the meantime the verdict is in….and we find the defendant guilty of the charge of ballin.  In other words: that’s baller (dot com)

P.S. I just watched Tropic Thunder and it was hilarious….and there’s big controversy over this Simple Jack thing and I just thought I’d add a little fuel to the fire.

HTC Touch Diamond

So I’m all about Windows Mobile phones….we know that by now.  I believe that I’m on my one, two, three…..four, five…right…my fifth Windows Mobile phone dating back years and years before the invention of the interwebs and the series of tubes.  Well, maybe not that long ago, but it’s been a while.  I consider myself a loyal customer.  I consider myself a very patient man.  BUT….I also consider myself fed up with the antics of HTC.  I can’t recall if they made every different Windows Mobile phone I ever had (I think I had one branded as an Audiovox back with T-Mobile…I can’t even remember now) but they’ve definitely made a few of mine, the most recent being the HTC Mogul from Sprint.  This phone is sexy.  Dead sexy.  Sliding keyboard.  Big old bright screen.  Rev-A, GPS, Bluetooth, WiFi….I mean this damn phone can connect to anything, any time, anywhere.  As long as you can wait long enough for the spinny circle of death (I’m trademarking that phrase btw…so all you forum users and bloggers out there will no I just made up SCOD…and I did it on the spot…that’s baller) OK back to the regularly scheduled program.  So on paper this phone is the cat’s meow.  I remember Rob and myself scouring the internet for deals on this phone waiting and hoping that the elusive SERO plan would offer this phone, which they eventually did and we ordered it the very day it was available.  We had this phone before the stores had it.  The geeks were going bananas.  I remember being in a bar or club down in Miami and another fellow geeky Mogul user saw our phone from across the room and came over for high fives and other manly things that we guys do.  My whole point of the rant thus far is that I was a loyal customer!  I loved this phone….I slept with it under my pillow….I even wore that cute leather pouch on my hip at work to protect it (then I realized I looked completely foolish and promptly put the case back in the box where it belongs).  Then……two weeks went by……. So it’s finally here!!!  After 13 months of using the HTC Mogul I have switched over to the Treo 800w.  I’m still getting used to how everything works (especially the smaller keyboard) but also I’m getting used to a stable and BLAZING fast phone (including 70+ megs of available RAM…are you kidding me?) and I decided to do my first speed test to see if I’m truly getting Rev-A speeds.  Well boys and girls….I am.  I was reading the forums over at TreoCentral.com and I founda few tips and tricks that I’ll be doing a write up about soon enough.  But without further delay I wanted you all to see the greatness that is the SERO plan.  49.99$ a month….UNLIMITED Rev-A sexiness, UNLIMITED texts, and hopefully a company that won’t be going out of business as they continue to lose customers left and right.  Anyways, here’s one happy camper:
